Pressure Washers
Hot Water vs Cold Water
Are there benefits to using hot water vs cold water when pressure washing?
Hot Water
Using hot water in a pressure washer is more beneficial when you are trying to clean oil, grease, and other various surfaces. The hot water offers more power to clean those rough substances. The hot water pressure washers can be used for defrosting and can also operate with cold water as well.
The cons of a hot water pressure washer, is they are big, bulky, more complicated to maintain and more expensive.
Cold Water
Cold water pressure washers are more compatible, cheaper and require less maintenance. They are more practical and easier to move around due to their smaller dimensions. The force of a cold water pressure washer is enough to break down most dirt and debris. The higher the PSI and GPM number, the more powerful the pressure washer will be.
