Pressure Washing Keyword Definitions
- GPM: Stands for “gallons per minute.” GPM is how much water is coming out of the pressure washer.
- CU: Stands for “cleaning units.” This gives measurement of unit performance to compare to other units. You determine this by multiplying the PSI and GPM.
- PSI: Stands for “pounds per square inch.” PSI is the amount of pressure a machine can make.
- Unloader Valve: Part of the pressure washer that lets the pump pass the flow of the water back to the pump while the gun is not being used. They are a regulator for the output pressure of the pump.
