Pressure Washing Safely

Read the ENTIRE pressure washer manual to make sure you are setting up and using it correctly.
Do not point the pressure washer wand at anyone. The pressure strength will be very dangerous to your body.
Wear protective gear. You can get injured from flying debris or from the powerful spray of the water. Wear items like heavy duty boots, long pants, sleeves, safety glasses, ear muffs, and gloves.
Do not use near any electrical outlets.
Make sure you use the gas pressure washer outside, in an open space. The engine produces carbon monoxide which can build up and cause harm to your body if it gathers in an enclosed space.
Remove gasoline from the engine, make sure the machine is clean and dry in a cool area to ensure it is stored safely.
Do not use a pressure washer on a ladder. The strong pressure from the machine can provide a kickback, causing you to fall off the ladder.
Make sure to double check what’s around you. Make sure there are no children, pets, tripping items, or items that can be damaged around you.
Make sure you are using the correct nozzles and machines, to make sure you aren’t damaging anything you are washing or yourself.
Follow the above tips to ensure you are pressure washing safely.
