Questions to Ask Power Washing Companies
Before you go ahead and book the first pressure washing company you see on Google, you’ll want to make sure you ask them a few basic questions to ensure they are the best company for you and for the job.
What are they able to pressure wash?
Are they available or experienced in the job you need service for?
Is their company insured?
Make sure they have insurance for their workers in case any of them get hurt on the job. If they don’t have insurance, you could end up being liable for any injuries, which is definitely something you don’t want to be responsible for.
You’ll also want to make sure their services are insured in case of any property damage. After all, you do not want to be stuck with the bill to replace any damaged items/areas.
Do they offer a guarantee for their work?
If they do not offer a guarantee for their work, then scratch them off your list. You want to make sure you can call them to make it right if you are not happy with their work.
Are their technicians certified?
Since commercial pressure washers are powerful and complex machines, you want to ensure the workers know exactly how to handle the machines without getting hurt or destroying your property. Power Washers of North America or Roof Cleaning Institute of America are two companies technicians can be certified from. Don’t be afraid to ask them for their certifications.
What cleansers are they using?
Make sure they are using the best cleansers for the area you live in.
Ask about their experience
How many jobs have they completed? How long have they been in business for? Are they experienced enough to get the job done?
Ask for a price quote
Ask how they conduct their business
How do they deal with waste water disposal? Make sure they are not washing the waste down the storm drains and polluting your communities water.
Are they safe? Are they providing the proper safety equipment for their workers? Are they safe when dealing with people in the area (i.e neighbors, pedestrians, workers, etc)
What chemicals do they use? Ask about the chemicals they use and make sure they are not a hazard to the environment or your home/business.
By asking these necessary questions you can help ensure they will be the best possible company for the job.
